How to Choose Your Florals

Things to Consider When Selecting Your Florals

CONSIDER YOUR VENUE

The location of your wedding should certainly influence your floral decisions. If you’re tying the knot in a park or botanical garden it is easy to make a bigger impression with fewer flowers. Keep with designs that look like they belong. For example, wildflowers will seem out of place in an elegant ballroom and vintage glitter & glam would look pretty strange in a rustic setting. Keeping in mind the size and shape of your tables can also help personalize your centerpiece style. Long, rectangular tables look beautiful with multiple small designs, while round tables can show an equal amount of beauty centered with a tall, elevated design.

Show & Tell

In and Out of Season

Sure, in this day and age we can get just about anything during any season. However, sometimes we just can’t make it happen (and believe us when we say it’s probably just as disappointing for us as it is for you.) In the next tab over you will find a list of flowers that are blooming like wildfire during your wedding season. Keep in mind that there are also an array of flowers that are available all year-round!
On another note: If your favorites aren’t in season, or you just happened to see the jaw dropping price because it’s out of season, don’t worry! There are always substitutes for a similar look and feel. Just ask, that’s what we’re here for.

The Budget

It’s important for us to know how much you are willing to spend. It is said that couples spend at the very least, 10% of all wedding cost on flowers and décor. So let us know! Our goal is to create beautifully put together arrangements that match your wedding’s personality and price. If you want flowers for every nook and cranny or are dead-set on peonies in November, plan to spend more on flowers and less somewhere else. And don’t forget to account for extras such as taxes, labor, installation and removal.
